Cub SportWith the release of their second studio album, BATS, just a week away now, Cub Sport have confirmed they will embark on a headline tour of Australia in 2018.
After emerging as one of BIGSOUND's buzz acts last week, the quartet will carry the momentum into next year to perform some of their biggest shows to date in in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.
Fans have already been given a taste of what to expect from BATS, following the release of first single O Lord and new cut, Chasin'.
"In the middle of 2015 I went on a writing trip to LA and London," frontman Tim Nelson said of the inspiration behind Chasin'.
"I enjoyed getting to write and record with some really talented people but I was sad for most of my time away. I missed [bandmate/partner Sam Netterfield] so much and I was just asking myself the whole time, why am I putting myself through this?!
"It made me realise that I was in love with him which was equal parts exciting and distressing. I'd hardly come out to myself and the idea of coming out to anyone else was terrifying."
Tickets for Cub Sport's tour go on sale tomorrow (14 September); for a look at all of the dates, head over to theGuide.
BATS is due out on 22 September.
