Cub Sport Join Brisbane Music Royalty After Winning The Triffid's Album Of The Year

Brissie band Cub Sport have just been revealed as the winners of The Triffid's publicly voted Album Of The Year as part of the venue's fourth birthday celebrations.

The win for 2017 release Bats means the group have been immortalised on The Triffid's band wall alongside Brisbane music royalty including The Go-Betweens, The Saints, Powderfinger, Violent Soho and more. 

Other albums nominated included The Creases' Tremolow, Jeremy Neale's Getting The Team Back Together, Science Fiction by The Belligerents and The Kite String Tangle Presents: In A Desperate Moment

"It's such an honour to have this album connect with people the way that it has," Cub Sport shared alongside an incredibly wholesome photo on Instagram.
