The Byron Bay Blues and Roots Festival will be on again in 2010. The festival will reach a bit of a milestone next year… it turns 21. To celebrate it’s 21st birthday the team behind ‘Bluesfest’ has put together a pretty cracking line-up. If you blues, laidback funk, mellow jams, and roots music is your flavor then best you check this out.
Headlining will be kiwi legends Crowded House, who will no doubt play a set laden with hits along with a few newies from their soon to be released LP. Joining them will be a plethora of talent with the likes of Fat Freddy’s Drop, Jeff Beck, Gogol Bordello, Buddy Guy, Old Crow Medicine Show and many many more. It all goes down over Easter at the Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm just out of Byron Bay.
