Courtney BarnettCourtney Barnett is confirmed as the next artist to take to the stage for MTV Unplugged Melbourne's concert series.
The ARIA Award-winning songwriter will return home for the gig, taking place at Howler in Brunswick on Tuesday 22 October.
"I’m looking forward to coming home and playing MTV Unplugged Melbourne with my wonderful band and a few very special guests," Barnett said.
"It’s been fun to re-arrange my songs and sometimes revisit where they started as demos. Gonna try a few new things.
"In my house growing up we had Nirvana Unplugged and Clapton Unplugged on repeat and I discovered a whole new world of music through the cover songs."
Barnett will follow a string of fellow big acts who have played Unplugged Melbourne including Gang Of Youths, Amy Shark and DMA'S.
The gig will be screened in November on MTV.
