Pond ProfileThree Aussies have been named to play at the Portugal leg of the Primavera festival series, it's been confirmed.
Melbourne singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett, indie dance duo Jagwar Ma and psychedelic rockers Pond will all perform at the Optimus Primavera Sound event in Porto, Portugal at the Parque da Cidade, with its entire line-up revealed today (via Pitchfork). The festival runs from Thursday 5 to Saturday 7 June.
Other artists announced for Optimus Primavera include current Aus visitors The National, rapper Kendrick Lamar and indie favourites Pixies.
All three local acts have already been confirmed to play at the Spain Primavera event a week earlier, along with other Aussies Cut Copy, Gang Of Youths and Mick Harvey.
