Stay tuned, because the beloved Sydney band seem to be teasing!

Beloved Sydney band Ratcat seem to be teasing their return in a new social media post.
Whether that return is preparing for live gigs or recording something in the studio is uncertain, but nonetheless, we're pumped.
Ratcat posted what looks like a studio pic last night, with band members holding up guitars in a mysterious little room. They captioned the photo with a simple "We may or may not be planning … something! #StayTuned".
Ratcat's last album, Easy Rider, was released in 1997. The band still intermittently tours, giving fans "unexpectedly good nights," per Facebook.
"Sydney indie stalwarts Ratcat have been tapped to open proceedings and the heat is oppressive as they take us on the first jaunt back through memory lane, their upbeat indie numbers like Baby Baby and early tune She's A Gas perfect in the economy of their construction," The Music commented about the band's 2016 A Day On The Green set in Queensland.
"Frontman Simon Day has lost none of his charisma and seems to be having a good time as he throws in Getting Away (From This World), but it's the one-two punch at the set's finale that really grabs the crowd's attention: the evergreen That Ain't Bad has lost none of its laconic charm, and Don't Go Now is still full of those trademark pop hooks which saw it climb to the very top of the singles chart back in 1991."

In New South Wales, "A mixture of heat and traffic meant crowds were still coming in as they took to the stage (always the festival way, unfortunately), but those down the front singing to That Ain't Bad weren't held back, nor was the swoon-worthy lead Simon Day. Timeless."
