In great news for those who can't make it to Melbourne International Comedy Festival's 30th Birthday Bash tonight — or for those who are going and merely want to relive it — The Comedy Channel will be airing a six-part series later this year, full of tonight's amazing performances.
The birthday extravaganza will be filmed in front of a live audience at Regent Theatre, after which a six-part series will be created exclusively for The Comedy Channel, hosted by Tommy Little.
Each episode will boast a few of tonight's 24 stand-up performances from acclaimed comics like The Umbilical Brothers, Judith Lucy, Wil Anderson, Wendy Harmer and many more.
Foxtel's Head Of Premium Entertainment Graham Burrells said, "The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is one of the best Comedy Festivals from around the globe and Foxtel is thrilled to be part of its 30th Anniversary celebrations."
The series will kick off this June.
