Come Stroke The Beards' Faces On Their 10 Year Anniversary Tour

"We didn't anticipate just how much global demand there would be for songs about beards.”

More The Beards The Beards Profile

For a band that formed with the simple intention of playing on show parody, The Beards have come a long way. They’re just four guys with beards who sing songs about beards, but damn have they ignited the passion of all those proud of their hairy facial regions.

The very manly men will start their 11-date tour at Caloundra Music Festival on 2 October, after which they'll head to Brisbane, Melbourne, Frankston, Mulgrave, Adelaide, Wallaroo, Sydney and Newcastle over the course of the month. Fiery-haired songstress Dallas Frasca will join the band on all but one of these shows.

Having toured internationally five times in just three years, frontman Johann Beardraven reflects that “When we started out, we didn't anticipate just how much global demand there would be for songs about beards.”

Along with the slew of shows across the country The Beards will also soon be releasing a special double album that features a compilation of their best songs, along with a live recording of a packed out show at Sydney’s Metro Theatre.
