The annual festival returns in March
The 10th CMC Rocks event in Queensland has unveiled the full artist line-up to complement previously announced headliners the Dixie Chicks, with the roster of A-list acts rounding out the bill led by acclaimed US artists Little Big Town and Kip Moore, as well as stalwart Aussie country icon Lee Kernaghan.
Little Big Town join the line-up as reigning Grammy winners for Country Duo/Group Of The Year (among other awards), making their Australian debut in the wake of a period of widespread touring across the States. Moore should be no stranger to country fans — or CMC fans, for that matter, as an alumnus of the festival — as a Platinum-selling, Nashville-born artist, while Kernaghan needs even less introduction, having been a fixture of the national circuit for decades now.
With passes set to go on sale from early next week, organisers have ensured there are plenty of reasons to get in line nice and early for March's impending event, naming a wealth of well-regarded Aussie artists on the bill for 2017, including Morgan Evans, Adam Harvey, The McClymonts, The Wolfe Brothers, Jasmine Rae, Imogen Clark, Mustered Courage, Christie Lamb, Col Finley and more.
Additionally, overseas drawcards include a wealth of inbound Americans, including Tyler Farr, Craig Campbell, Charles Esten and more, as well as UK fly-ins The Shires and Ward Thomas.
