The Melbourne punk faves set off for three dates this October

More Clowns More Clowns

Beloved Melburnian punk outfit Clowns are gearing up to take their killer new single, Destroy The Evidence, on the road this month, unveiling three east-coast tour dates alongside the track's hectic new video clip.

Following Destroy The Evidence's premiere on triple j's Good Nights program last night, the band will hit the road from Friday 14 October, when they kick off their whirlwind run at Brisbane's Crowbar. They next rear their heads at Blackwire Records, in Sydney, with an all-ages showing on 15 October, on their way back home to Melbourne, where they bring the brief tour to a close at The Evelyn on Friday 21 October. The tour comes fresh off the back of a European and UK sojourn, which itself arrived swiftly in the wake of the lads' massive recent jaunt around the country with The Bennies.

Destroy The Evidence marks the start of a new chapter for Clowns, being unveiled in the wake of their widely acclaimed 2015 album Bad Blood and as the band turn their attention towards their mystery next release, for which details are coming together as we speak. It will be released digitally as a single on 2 September, with a 7" release to follow in October on Poison City Records.

Clowns will be joined for all three shows on their Destroy The Evidence tour by stalwart Brissy sludge lords No Anchor.
