Citizen Kay Announces Tour Dates In Honour Of New Single

The rapper sets out in support of 'Our World' from late May

Citizen Kay has announced dates for his Our World tour, set to kick off at the Gum Ball Festival in Belford, NSW, this Saturday, 23 April, before continuing proper in May and June with headline shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra.

The rapper is looking to capitalise on a big 2015, which saw the release of his debut album, With The People, a soulful hip-hop record that included the hits Wax On Wax Off and When Life Gives You Lemons. Now he is ready to hit the road in support of new single Our World.

Citizen Kay also recently completed the Illy national tour, and has shared stages with such rap royalty as Wiz Khalifa, Earl Sweatshirt & Danny Brown, Run The Jewels, Ice Cube, Public Enemy and Seth Sentry.

The ascendant Canberran rhymesmith will follow up his appearance at the Gum Ball with shows at Sydney's Plan B Smallclub on Friday 27 May, Melbourne's Workers Club on Friday 3 June, and Canberra's Transit Bar on Saturday 4 June. Presented by Select Music and Asphalt Records, his headline shows will be supported by Genesis Owusu and more special guests.
