Chillinit, The Terrys, RedHook Lead New Year's Eve Event At NSW Venue

The North Gong Hotel will host a massive New Year’s Eve event this year, locking in a huge line-up across three stages.

Leading the stacked musical event on the Main Stage is Sydney rapper Chillinit, who will be joined by indie rockers The Terrys, and chameleonic rock act RedHook. UK producer duo Switch Disco will lead proceedings on the Beer Garden Stage, and many more acts will be announced for the Banger Alley Stage.

The fun kicks off from 4 pm until late on Wednesday, 31 December, with food, drink, and live music sorted on the big day.

Tickets will be available from 10 am today via Oztix.

“This event is the ultimate party at North Gong,” said North Gong Hotel manager Josh Hill. “Every year for New Year’s Eve, we create a massive festival vibe at the pub, we bring in stages and massive production, and book a rad music line-up.

“This year, we’ll have pop-up food and bars, three stages, a bunch of DJs, and we’re hyped to have Chillinit, The Terrys and RedHook joining us. What more fun could you want to celebrate NYE in Wollongong?!”

Chillinit added, “There's nowhere like Wollongong when it comes to the 420fam, it's like my second home. I’ve always felt the love, so what better news to announce I'm COMING BACK again for a huge NYE party alongside the Terrys and more. Let’s bring in the New Year with some big energy and good vibes, let's see the whole fam travel out, I already know some of y’all gonna be coming from everywhere.”

RedHook’s Emmy Mack commented, “The Gong has always held a special place in our hearts and we are so beyond pumped to get to ring in the New Year at the North Gong Hotel on this absolutely off chops pub fezzy line-up! Vibes are gonna be through the roof, and it’ll be extra bloody special to have a ‘Soju’ singalong with our OG choir from the mighty Illawarra.”

Switch Disco concluded, “We’re beyond excited to return to Australia for our third tour! It’s been a year since our last visit, and we’ve been working on so much new music that we can’t wait to share. Aussie crowds always have this unmatched energy - every show feels electric - so we’re counting down the days until we’re back on stage for you!”

In 2023, the North Gong Hotel hosted the likes of Hockey Dad, Mallrat, Mansionair, and Set Mo, while last year’s event welcomed Cub Sport, The Vanns, Bag Raiders, and more.
