Cheez TV Hosts Lead Final Batch Of June Supanova Guest Stars

Nineties and early-noughties kids rejoice, because Cheez TV hosts — and bringers of school-age nostalgia — Jade Gatt and Ryan Lappin have been announced in the final batch of Supanova guest stars for this June's events in Sydney and Perth.

Also joining the line-up is Game Of Thrones' Eugene Simon, Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Juliet Landau, and Sydney-exclusive guests, Benedict Samuel (The Walking Dead), Dean Haglund (The X-Files) and John Jarratt (Wolf Creek's iconic baddie, Mick Taylor).

Gatt and Lappin have recently emerged from our foggy 7am memories following a return to public consciousness and the launch of the pair's new podcast, The Jade & Ryan Show.

Simon, who plays Lancel Lannister, is sure to be a fan favourite for Game Of Thrones aficionados, while Landau (best known as Buffy antogonist Drusilla) is stepping in for her co-star Julie Benz, who has had to postpone her appearance until 2017.

Launched in 2002, Supanova Pop Culture Expo brings fandoms to life — celebrating the worlds of film and television, fantasy, comic books, anime, sci-fi, cartoons, books, gaming and collectables. And, of course, there's the cosplay.

As always, fans can meet their favourite stars through Q&A panels, autograph and photograph sessions. The final group of Supastar guests headed to Perth and Sydney join an acclaimed list of pop-culture figureheads including James Marsters (Buffy, Angel), Sean Astin (The Goonies, Lord Of The Rings), Charmed stars Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs and Brian Krause, Tyler Hoechlin (Teen Wolf), Travis Fimmel (Vikings, Warcraft), Troy Baker (The Last Of Us, BioShock Infinite, Uncharted 4) and many more.

​This year's Sydney event will be held on 17 to 19 June at Sydney Showground, with the Perth event on the following weekend on 25 to 26 June at Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre.
