Introducing Cheatin’ Hearts Records.
Fenn Wilson
The team behind NSW’s Thirroul Music Festival have launched a brand new record label.
Cheatin’ Hearts Records, the new venture from Luke Woods and Aaron Curnow, has been “established as a home for releasing and supporting Australia’s most cutting-edge new country, blues and folk music”, with releases distributed by Caroline/UMA.
The first music released via the label comes from indie-folk singer-songwriter Fenn Wilson, who recently released Love Again, a song written following the passing of his father, acclaimed Australian bluesman Chris Wilson.
“Fenn’s music represents everything we want this label to be - a contemporary voice and a modern take on the musical traditions we love - country and folk, blues and soul, and everything in between,” Woods said.
“We’re really proud to be working with Fenn as the very first Cheatin’ Hearts artist and look forward to sharing his new album with the world very soon.”
