Chairlift's Caroline Polachek Goes Solo As 'Ramona Lisa'

CHAIRLIFT front-woman CAROLINE POLACHEK has announced the launch of a solo project she calls RAMONA LISA with her debut single & video 'Arcadia'.

The self described 'Noh Wave' duo and main focus of POLACHEK's attention for the last several years known as CHAIRLIFT have been operating on the quiet side recently, we're guessing this is why.

RAMONA LISA seems to be it's slightly more embryonic and definitely less pop sensible off-shoot; the music is etherial, suspenseful and progressive while still retaining the vocalists heavenly voice that I'm sure we've all fallen in love with over the years.

Her debut solo LP is called 'Arcadia' and will be out April 15 via Terrible in the U.S., April 14 via Pannonica in Europe/Japan, and April 14 via Mistletone in Australia/New Zealand.
