CATS @ Rocket Bar ft. Spookyland EP Tour

To celebrate the release of their 'Rock N Roll Weakling' EP, Sydney's Spookyland are taking to CATS for the Adelaide leg of their Australian EP Tour.

CATS sure know how to party Adelaide. They’ve been going from strength to strength, bringing you some of the freshest and greatest talent from all around Australia. It’s no surprise that this week, they’ve gone a step further, and lined up an intense night for you.

For starters, we’ve previously dubbed him as Sydney’s BOB DYLAN. His EP ‘Rock N Roll Weakling’ graced us with its sophisticated approach to making complex sounds that really set the record apart from the rest of the “Australian” sound. Sydney’s SPOOKYLAND (now fit out with an entire band) is the brainchild of Marcus Gordon.

To celebrate the release of the EP, they’re taking to CATS for the Adelaide leg of their Australian EP Tour. They’ll be bringing their knack for making sounds that seem soft, yet are received as harsh and rather jagged, along with their very sentimental blues-meets-ballads mentality.

Also kicking it on the night will be Sydney troublemakers STICKY FINGERS. They’ll be wreaking havoc at CATS with the official after party of the Adelaide leg of their ‘Land Of Pleasure Australian Tour’, celebrating the release of their latest LP. Expect a DJ set from the lads, as well as a night of laughs, good music and new friends.

Supporting SPOOKYLAND on the night will be South Australia’s soulful new baby, JUPITER and eclectic songwriter NAOMI KEYTE.
