Adelaide’s local Friday shindig AKA CATS @ Rocket Bar will see a killer lineup take to the stage to get your night kicked off proper well.
Adelaidean quartet IT’S A HOAX will be bringing along their explicit eye for a tantalising riff, paired with a palette that boasts influences from all walks of the music industry. Jazz, classic rock and even the roots of indie rock all creep into their tracks, making for a tasty concoction of musical prowess.
They’ll be there on the night to launch their latest single off their forthcoming EP, which is due to be released later in the year.
Joining them on the night will be WEST THEBARTON BROTHEL PARTY with all of their raucous 7-piece goodness. Sounding like something off the Pulp Fiction Soundtrack, the debut single from the band, titled ‘Chemotherapy’ tugs firmly on THE HIVES’-esque guitar riffs, surf-rock drum rolls and a killer ensemble of scratchy, yet entirely appropriate vocals.
Playing futuristic indie-rock has become second nature to these self-prescribed sci-fi lovers. THE ROCKETEERS are taking their latest single ‘Phazers’ on the road to bring CATS a taste of the stunning works the group is capable of.
