The Pond and Tame Impala instrumentalist is flying solo and with Sarah Blasko from next month
Multi-talented muso Cameron Avery has announced a run of headline shows in support of new album Ripe Dreams, Pipe Dreams, unveiling new single Watch Me Take It Away for good measure.
The Pond and Tame Impala multi-instrumentalist will complement his upcoming run of shows supporting Sarah Blasko with four standalone dates this June and July, kicking off at Melbourne's Grace Darling, and heading on for intimate affairs in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth over the ensuing few weeks.
Avery released his album back in March (through Anti/Spinning Top Records) and has been enjoying a solid wave of momentum in recent months, afforded to him by way of consistent high-profile supports — he's previously opened for the likes of Father John Misty, The Last Shadow Puppets and HAIM, to name a few — and a swiftly growing solo fanbase, who flocked to his previous Ces't Toi single tour earlier this year on the west and east coasts.
That's all in addition to his international achievements, including an appearance at SXSW and tours of the US, UK and Europe. Given he now spends his days based out of New York, you'd be foolhardy to miss the opportunity to catch him in action when he returns to home shores for this string of performances.
