Bullet For My ValentineThe first band confirmed for this year’s cancelled Soundwave line-up, Bullet For My Valentine, have come out with all guns blazing for their rescheduled return, locking in a massive headline run for October.
The British metal heavyweights have enlisted genre legends Atreyu and New Orleans-based newcomers Cane Hill for the tour, which sees them bring their ARIA #1 album Venom along for the ride.
The tour kicks off Thursday 20 October at Perth’s Metro City before visiting Adelaide (HQ, 21 October), Melbourne (170 Russell, 25 October), Sydney (Big Top, 27 October, licensed all ages) and wrapping up in Brisbane at Eatons Hill with a final licensed AA performance on Friday 28 October.
No doubt the band have stepped up their game since their last visit in 2013, with singer Matt Tuck last month performing The Last Fight while skydiving over the icy terrain of Norway. Now that’s metal.
Tickets go on sale via Destroy All Lines this Monday, 18 April, at 9am local time, and you can find all other info in theGuide.
