Additional Three Events And Two Venues To The 2016 Program
Brunswick Music Festival has expanded its line-up with the addition of three huge events and two venues to the 2016 program, with a strong focus on female performers. The 28th addition of the festival will welcome back Mia Dyson, who last performed in 2005 and will be returning to the festival after numerous big international shows with The Waifs.
Another leading singer/songwriter is Jess Ribero, who released a deeply personal album Kill It Yourself which received widespread critical appraisal. Frontwoman of The Bamboos and leading lady of soul Kylie Auldist is set to launch her new single Family Tree from the forthcoming album of the same name at Howler on 19 March as part of BMF.
Emma Donovan & The Putbacks will perform at a special Sunday afternoon showcase on 20 March at Ceres, joined by rising young indigenous performer Yirrmal and headlined by legendary Australian singer-songwriter Shane Howard.
