Plus what else you'll be hearing next week
Brisbane outfit The Grates have landed next week's triple j feature album.
Listeners will be hearing a lot of Patience Hodgson and John Patterson on the youth broadcaster, thanks to their new LP Dream Team. The album is the band's first release via their own record label Death Valley, distributed through Create/Control.
Dream Team was given the nod just ahead of Wagga Wagga-bred, Melbourne-based The Ocean Party and their latest album Soft Focus. A handful of songs off that release will get airplay next too.
Local track additions to the triple j playlist will also come from punks The Bennies and Heavy Disco, Cosmo's Midnight and Snare feat. Wild Eyed Boy, plus Millions' Always and Spit Syndicate's Real. Internationals Cold War and Ghostface Killah will also have new tunes drop on the j's next week.
