Boasting work from Luke Henery, Stephen Booth, Markus Ravik and many others!

The best of Brisbane's live music photography will be on display at Crowbar during BIGSOUND, with the good folk at The Brisbane Collective curating an exhibition at the venue featuring work by Violent Soho member and renowned photographer Luke Henery, regular The Music contributors Stephen Booth and Markus Ravik, and many more talented shutterbugs.

If you've spent any kind of time on our site or reading our mags in the past, you'll have noticed Booth and Ravik as frequent, long-time presences among the ranks of good-natured people with keen eyes for photography and hearts several sizes too big who routinely lend their efforts to our cause, while Henery has been no stranger to capturing some incredible moments at gigs for our — and your — benefit in the past, either.

Titled Point & Shoot: An Exploration Of Music Photography, the exhibition will also display works from photographers and videographers such as Kylie KeeneWilson BambrickCharlyn CameronHarlraHAllan AllportJasmin HeneryAndrew WadeBenjamin KnightAmanda BrenchleyAaron SammutMitch Lowe and Liam Edward. Its inaugural installation was held last year, and its second go-around promises to be even bigger and more glorious a visual spectacular than before.

The exhibition — which sports free entry, mind you — kicks off on Tuesday, 6 September, with an opening-night event from 6pm-10pm; it will remain on display at Crowbar from noon till 10pm on Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 September, and 5pm-10pm on Friday 9 September.
