Brian Johnson's TV Series Featuring Dolly Parton, Billy Joel & More Is Airing Tonight

AC/DC's Brian Johnson has hit the road to chat with some of music's biggest names for his TV series, Brian Johnson: A Life On The Road. 

The show has now returned for its second season, with the first two episodes set to air on ABC TV Plus tonight with Dolly Parton and Billy Joel set to be the focus. 

Over the coming weeks, viewers can also expect to see Mick Fleetwood, Dire Straits' Mark Knopfler, The Eagles' Joe Walsh and Free/Bad Company's Paul Rodgers. Read the episode descriptions below. 

The first season aired back in 2017 with Johnson joined by the likes of Roger Daltrey, Lars Ulrich, Robert Plant and more.

• Dolly Parton

AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson meets some of music’s biggest names to share stories about what life is really like on the road. First up is Dolly Parton, who Brian visits at her base in Nashville.

• Billy Joel

Brian Johnson meets Billy Joel at his motorcycle shop in Oyster Bay, Long Island to discuss some of the ‘Piano Man’s’ most memorable tours and career moments.

• Mark Knopfler

Dire Straits lead singer, songwriter and guitarist Mark Knopfler takes Brian on a trip around their beloved Northumberland and reveals insights into his early journey in music and subsequent superstardom with Dire Straits.

• Mick Fleetwood

Brian Johnson heads to Hawaii to meet Fleetwood Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood, who talks about his incredible and unique journey as the lynchpin of Fleetwood Mac and the band’s extraordinary and enduring success.

• Joe Walsh

Brian Johnson heads to Los Angeles to meet his old friend Joe Walsh. The pair ride a limo around some of LA’s most important music spots and Joe reflects on his early days in the James Gang and subsequent career with The Eagles.

• Paul Rodgers

Brian Johnson joins Paul Rodgers, lead singer of Free and Bad Company, on tour in the USA. Paul shares candid stories from his varied and diverse career as a singer within some of rock’s greatest bands.
