'We cannot wait to reveal some of the names performing as part of the line-up.'
Australia has scored itself a brand new hip hop music festival which will hold its debut events this year.
DRIP World, the country's biggest contemporary urban festival, will go ahead this August and September in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth, featuring "some of the best international Grammy Award-winning acts and freshest home-grown talent".
The full line-up announce will be revealed on Wednesday 5 June and is spearheaded by Lui Spedaliere who has worked with the likes of Ice Cube, Cypress Hill, Boyz II Men and Lupe Fiasco.
"DRIP World isn’t just a festival, it’s a culture. It’s the hottest contemporary urban ticket in town – and as it’s our first event, we’re keen to bring fans on the journey with us, to help make it the event we all want it to be in our debut year," Spedaliere said.
"This year’s line-up is a ten hour-plus party of rap, trap and hip hop. We’re all about turning the fun button up a notch, having locked in the freshest artists we cannot wait to reveal some of the names performing as part of the line-up.”
