Boy & Bear Will Return To The Stage This Year Following Illness

And they've got new music!

More Boy & Bear Boy & Bear

Boy & Bear are back in a big way. The Australian indie-rock band have released their first new music since 2015 and topped off the news with the announcement of a massive global tour.

The group will play headline shows in Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne and Sydney this August before they head off to North America, UK and Europe.

The new single, Hold Your Nerve, is the first cut from their forthcoming fourth studio album which is due for release later this year.

It comes following frontman Dave Hosking's battle with a mystery illness which took the band off the road across most of 2017 and 2018. Following a diagnosis of chronic dysbiosis, Hosking was finally able to find relief through Faecal Microbiota Transplants (FMT) aka stool transplants.

The treatment has allowed the band to get back in the studio, his donor was even brought to Nashville for the recording of the new album, and will allow the band to embark on this tour.

Check out the full list of dates in theGuide below. Tickets for the shows go on sale this Friday 7 June.
