With more than 14,000 tickets sold ahead of its headliner announcement, it's clear that Melbourne's upcoming 6XXL Festival is on track to be a big event on the music calendar.
Described as the biggest "techno, dance, hardstyle, and electronic music experience," 6XXL Festival is the product of Dangerous Goods Entertainment, who will be taking over Melbourne's iconic Footscray Park on January 24th, 2026.
First announcing the upcoming edition of the festival back in early July, tickets for the event went on sale and swiftly sold in the thousands, with more than 14,000 sales before a headliner was even announced or a venue secured.
Much of this is due to 6XXL Festival's goal of fusing world music, psychedelic visuals, and interactive activations that embrace a diverse crowd of ravers from far and wide.
"We want to awaken the sensation of euphoria through the intentional curation of the flow of music, which is different at each stage, to create a unique but shared experience that takes you on a journey," explains Dangerous Goods Entertainment Co-Founder, Mitchell Lyman.
While acts such as Ace Ventura, Part Time Killer, Double Pulse, and more have all been named on the line-up, a massive batch of headliners have now been announced, including international icons such as German legends Boris Brejcha, Moritz Hofbauer, and Pretty Pink, as well as Dutch producer Vieze Asbak.

They're joined by legendary local acts such as Timmy Trumpet, Will Sparks, and Miss Jade, who are all set to provide some massive sets.
The forthcoming 6XXL Festival is described as Dangerous Goods' biggest event to date, with 25,000 partygoers set to experience a man stage with a white and gold palace design with a giant lion’s head, pyrotechnics, and light projections; while other stages include unique themes such a 360-degree stage and a Jungle Theme stage featuring a mapping and visuals-scape in a forest.
Pre-sale tickets for 6XXL Festival go on sale from 6pm on Wednesday, November 5th, with GA tickets being offered alongside VIP options and VVIP Booth Packages.
