More Serena Ryder More Serena Ryder

After almost ten years away from Australian shores, lauded Canadian singer-songwriter Serena Ryder is returning in April to perform at Byron Bay Bluesfest, and she's making the trip extra-worthwhile with the announcement of a pair of headline sideshow dates while she's in the country.

Taking to the stage at Melbourne's Northcote Social Club on Thursday, April 2, as well as The Basement, in Sydney, on Saturday, April 4, Ryder will be enthralling Aussie audiences with a range of cuts from her latest acclaimed full-length effort, 2012's Harmony, from which her equally revered recent single, the three-times-Platinum What I Wouldn't Do, is taken.

With a touring history that includes rubbing shoulders with the venerated Melissa Etheridge, as well as high-profile appearances on US TV, including on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno last year, Ryder comes to Bluesfest and beyond in a solid position to leave audiences smiling for days over an inevitable eveing to remember.
