The revered Brit performer will travel all around the country this April
Bluesfest-bound troubadour Frank Turner has revealed more than the usual festival sideshow fare, naming a string of headline dates in each corner of the nation (and New Zealand) when he's in the region for the annual event in April next year.
The ex-frontman of defunct hardcore outfit Million Dead has spent the last ten-or-so years crafting an impressive solo career, releasing five studio albums (the most recent being last year's acclaimed Tape Deck Heart) and a raft of well-performing singles that have all worked together to cement Turner as one of Britain's best and brightest. And that's not even mentioning his live accolades, the highest of which was arguably his opening performance at London's 2012 Olympic Games.
Aside from his kick-off appearance at Bluesfest on Sunday, April 5, Aussies will be able to bask in the glow of Turner and his backing band The Sleeping Souls in Perth, on Monday, April 6, as well as Adelaide, Newcastle, Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne and Geelong before they hop the ditch for appearances in Auckland and Wellington.
Tickets for Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls' 2015 national tour will go on sale from 9am next Wednesday, November 26, through a variety of outlets. For a full rundown of dates, venues and ticketing details, head on over to theGuide or see The Music App.
