Punters can also experience a special musical created for Bluesfest by legendary R&B outfit Sensations, Ellis Hall The Clarence Bekker Band And Friends Presents Sensational! – The Ultimate Musical Journey, which will take place every day except Saturday.

“The thrill is coming! Every year with the release of the full line-up and its accompanying playing schedule you can really feel it,” said festival director Peter Noble OAM.

“It’s palpable here at the Bluesfest office as the festival approaches its 31st line-up. The feedback is we have delivered one of our best artists bills. There will be thousands of ticket buyers attempting to fit in all the artists they want to see at Bluesfest this year. It will be a 12-hour daily marathon from noon until midnight over five stages of both headliners and the best emerging artists.

“I’m looking forward to seeing you all here in Byron Bay to celebrate with some of our favourite artists in the world. I’m really proud of this line-up, we’ve gathered some of the best names from all over the world, from all over Australia and given our true blues fans something to sing about. This is a very fulfilling line-up and I am thrilled. Let the countdown begin.”
