Blues On Broadbeach has announced more artists for their already stacked lineup this year, adding superstar acts like Vika & Linda, Eric Gales, and Salmonella Dub Soundsystem to the mix.

The Gold Coast’s favourite (and only) blues festival, Blues On Broadbeach is set to take over Kurrawa Park from May 15-18. Just last month, the festival announced that the legendary Jimmy Barnes would be headlining this year, performing his beloved album Soul Deep exclusively at the Queensland event.

This second announcement features the likes of Vika & Linda, Eric Gales, and Salmonella Dub Soundsystem - as previously mentioned - as well as Fiona Boyes & The Fortune Tellers, Bob Log III, Radical Son, and 8 Ball Aitken's All Star Jam

Sunpie Barnes & Dom Turner will also make an appearance, as will Frank Sultana Blues Band, Murray Cook’s Soul Movers, Lecia Louise, Bullhorn, Kathleen Halloran, Damon Smith, Matt Katsis, Claude Hay And The Kung Fu Mustard, Taya Chani, Angela Fabian, and The James Street Preachers.

Previously announced artists that will also hit up the festival include ARIA award winning act, The Cruel Sea, American singer-songwriter Eli Paperboy Reed, and Aussie rockers Diesel. You can find the full lineup below.

Experience Gold Coast Festival Director Mark Duckworth called Blues on Broadbeach’s 2025 iteration “the perfect lineup”, saying, “The list of acts for this year is so exciting, with international rhythm and blues musicians alongside the best in Australia. We can’t wait for May to see all these incredible artists light up the streets, bars, and parks, bringing their unique sounds to the heart of Broadbeach.”

Speaking on their own excitement for the festival, Fiona Boyes & the Fortune Tellers said, “My band and I are looking forward to playing at Blues on Broadbeach again. It’s a wonderfully diverse, accessible, and welcoming festival - and a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new ones.

“Blues on Broadbeach is a bit like a family gathering for the tight-knit Blues community. As well as having great audiences, you generally know some of the other players and get to meet others, catch up and find out what’s happening in the Blues scene in other parts of country…lots of fun.”
