'Dance With Me' recalls The Ramones' 'I Wanna Be Sedated' in the best possible way.

The album campaign for blink-182’s One More Time… is rolling ahead, with the iconic American pop-punk trio paying homage to the legacy of The Ramones with the new single and music video Dance With Me.
In the music video, Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker recall punk legends The Ramones, featuring callbacks to the I Wanna Be Sedated clip; they wear old-school 70s wigs and outfits and bring some bite to their signature pop-punk sound. Who wore the wig best?
Of course, it’s not really a blink-182 clip without some raunchiness to accompany the spoofs. You can watch the music video directed by The Malloys below.
The new single arrives ahead of the trio’s new album, One More Time…, landing via Columbia Records on Friday, 20 October. Drummer Travis Barker produced the new record, which has already been preceded by Dance With Me and previous singles, including the title track, More Than You Know, and Edging.
The title track is set in a minor key with Tom DeLonge’s iconic vocals opening, while the music video resembles I Miss You but all grown up. One More Time is the best kind of song from blink-182 – oozing in nostalgia, honest expression of emotions and powerfully doesn’t go for a big climax.
While One More Time is a striking ballad, More Than You Know begins akin to the mournful piano outro to Violence before powering up into a fist-pumping pop-punk banger.

Edging was the first track with blink-182’s most famous line-up since 2012. After months of speculation, blink-182 revealed Tom's return to the band just days before releasing new music, accompanying the announcement with the news that they'd be embarking on a massive global tour. A whopping 15-date tour is hitting Australia in 2024 with support from Rise Against.
