Black Flag To Tour Australia For First Time

The legendary Black Flag – punk pioneers and one of the most influential names in the genre – are coming to Australia for the first time in their career as part of the Hits And Pits festival.

Formed in 1976, the band broke up in 1986 after leaving their undisputable mark on the music industry through their adrenaline and relentlessness. As a lot of important punk bands find, since breaking up they've experienced a surge in popularity and earlier this year founding member Greg Ginn and vocalist Ron Reyes decided to bring the magic back.

Remarkably, touring punk festival Hits & Pits has landed them for their 2013 and the band will headline a bill that already includes Boysetsfire, The Ataris, Bad Astronaut and Snuff.
