The annual conference hits the State Theatre Centre of Western Australia this November
Birds Of Tokyo drummer and the co-founder of Firestarter Music, Adam Weston, NOISEY editor Fred Pessaro, artist Tomas Ford and many other industry identities have been named on the second speakers' line-up announcement for this November's WA Music Conference, part of the state's yearly WAM Festival celebrations.
The new crop of speakers join an existing complement that already features bookers, executives, producers, artist liaisons and media such as RTRFM music director Adam Christou, Perfect Pitch Publishing director Clive Hodson, New World Artists booking agent Edwin Tehrani, Moshtix managing editor Harley Evans, Sounds Australia executive producer Millie Millgate and many others. Pessaro is the event's first-revealed keynote speaker.
Also freshly added to the bill are New Action Management manager Andrew Fuller (also of My Entertainment Lawyer), producer/engineer/mixer Anna Laverty, WAAPA marketing manager and Death Disco co-founder Anton Maz, Dew Process licensing and A&R manager Blake Rayner and more.
The 2015 WA Music Conference will be held from Friday 6 to Saturday 7 November at the State Theatre Centre of Western Australia. Limited early-bird tickets are available until 5pm next Friday, 25 September, and are well worth a look given they ensure you several perks such as priority speed-dating sessions and an invite to the VIP Quay Note Boat Party, featuring Coin Banks and Pilerats DJs.
