Birds Of Tokyo Announce Album & Tour

The Perth rockers are ready to start firing on all cylinders again.

More Birds Of Tokyo More Birds Of Tokyo

Fans of Perth rockers Birds Of Tokyo ought to have Friday 1 March etched into their diaries right now, as the band have just announced that this is the date they will release their brand new record, which they're, aptly enough, calling March Fires.

The band made the record in Los Angeles with producer Dave Cooley and had Tony Hoffer mix the record, just a small example of the changes they have made to the way they operate since the last record, changes that also include two new members, new home cities and even writing some songs in France, just for the hell of it.

Of course in order to give the record the kind of launch into the world that the band believe it deserves, they are heading out on the road for a massive run of shows that will see them bringing their brand of melodic rock to punters all across the country.

This will be the band's first national concert tour in 18 months, so plenty of rabid fans are no doubt very excited about the prospect of seeing the boys live in action again.
