Big Day Out Makes Last Minute Venue Change In Perth

Big Day Out has announced a last minute venue change for their Perth event in 2014, with the show set to move from its initial home of Claremont Showground to the new surrounds of the Arena Joondalup.

The decision was announced this evening, with a statement from Graham Partridge OAM – the chairman of VenuesWest, which operates the arena – welcoming the Big Day Out to their new home.

The Big Day Out have said that the City Of Joondalup has been very supportive and considers them to be forward thinking and progressive. No reason has been given for the shock venue change.

All tickets are still valid for the festival's new home, timetables will remain the same and the festival will be issuing a new, revised map of the arena in due course.
