"Put it in your calendars and start counting down the days."
Victorian New Year's festival Beyond The Valley has officially postponed its 2020 event.
In a statement released today, festival organisers said they were holding off making a decision, however the current restrictions in Victoria have left them with no other choice.
"It will be the first New Years in six years that we won’t be dancing with all of you, but we are already planning for a monumental 2021 event," the statement reads.
"For those of you who purchased a pre-sale ticket - your tickets will be valid for the 2021 event. If you can no longer attend, you will receive an email with further information on how to claim your refund.
"Put it in your calendars and start counting down the days - we will see you on 28th December 2021 for a four day celebration like no other."
The 2019 Beyond The Valley festival saw performances from the likes of RÜFÜS DU SOL, Tyler, The Creator, Methyl Ethel, Meg Mac, Matt Corby and The Veronicas.
