He'll play a host of shows this winter
We got the first taste of the new Bernard Fanning last week with the single Battleships, now we'll get the chance to hear his new album, Departures, live.
Fanning has announced a mammoth national tour, which will see him play a host of metro and regional gigs throughout July and August. This of course coincides with his appearance on the mega-fest that is Splendour In The Grass.
Supporting throughout the tour will be Big Scary, Vance Joy, The Rubens, The Medics and Snakadaktal.
The LP, his first solo material since 2005's hit Tea & Sympathy, will be available from Friday 7 June.
