Ben Folds To Bring 'Paper Aeroplane Request' Tour To Australia In 2018

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Ben Folds has confirmed today that he will be return to Australia in 2018 for a very special set of theatre shows.

The US artist will perform a two-part solo piano show at all stops of the tour; the first set will see Folds curate a playlist of hits spanning across his illustrious catalogue including Brick and Rockin' The Suburbs, while the second half will be handed over to the audience for a Paper Aeroplane Request show.

Audience members will be encouraged to write their song requests on a piece of paper, fold it into a paper aeroplane and shoot it straight on stage to Folds. He will then randomly select the paper planes and perform the requested song.

The tour will kick off in Brisbane next February, before moving on to Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide, Perth and Hobart
