The Gold Coast Music Awards (GCMAs) hosted its massive 2025 gala and live concert at HOTA, Home of the Arts, rolling out the red carpet to celebrate the absolute best of the South East Queensland music scene.

The future is looking bright for Lyric, who took out the Breakout Artist of the Year after her latest EP debuted at #2 on the ARIA Charts. Meanwhile, indie-folk heroes Hollow Coves added another accolade to their billion-stream tally, claiming Live Act of the Year.
Musician of the Year went to guitarist Robbie Bostock while TANISHA took home Release of the Year for On My Terms. bella amor scored Song of the Year for rocks in my pocket after supporting Benson Boone earlier this year on his sold out national tour.
The GCMAs are also an opportunity to give a nod to those behind the curtain with Luke Palmer taking Studio Producer of the Year, Den Devine taking Venue of the Year and Selve taking Video of the Year for the song Breaking Into Heaven. Visual Creative of the Year went to Jared Hinz while Blind Corners took the prestigious Gold Coast Music Prize for artistic impact and trajectory.
