Australian country music veteran Beccy Cole has signed to Ambition Country, a new label set up by the Ambition Music Group.

Cole has signed the deal ahead of a best of Beccy's Big Hits, which will mark the 20th year of her career.

Ambition Country has the involvement of former Keith Urban manager Greg Shaw and former Warner exec and CMAA board member Brian Harris, who are directors of the parent company. Robert Rigby has been named Label Head. The label will be distributed by EMI.

Rigby said, “we are very proud to have [Cole] joining us on our new country label. We are thrilled that she chose to be with us. She is a woman who many people admire for believing in who she is and not afraid to say it. She is also an artist with a great sense of humour and we can't wait to help spread the music of Beccy Cole.”
