Brisbane's "Little Lion Lungs" herself, Bec Laughton, has announced a national run of shows in support of her brand spankin' new EP, M & R.
Having already dropped singles Gonna Love You and Number One (Heartbreak), Laughton is out to show that the charms of M & R - to be released on May 5 - carry all the way to the stage and beyond as she embarks on an expansive 11-date journey around the country in honour of its release.
The EP's six tracks highlight Laughton's versatility as a songwriter and performer, touching on everything from soul and R&B to pop, as well as featuring remix appearances from fellow Brisbane-based upstart Tyler Touché and renowned production duo YesYou.
With a just-announced appearance at the budding young Soulfest beckoning in October, the tour is sure to prove a fitting testing ground for Laughton's broadening horizons, and a prime opportunity for fans new and old alike to spend some quality time with a quality person before she goes all "brazen conqueror" on us.
