"We plan to make it up to you..."
UK four-piece Bastille have today announced the postponement of their upcoming Australian shows which were due to take place this week and next.
The Melbourne and Sydney shows, which were scheduled for 1 & 2 September respectively, have now been moved to January due to "unforeseen circumstances".
"It's with deep regret due to unforeseen circumstances we're unable to play the shows planned in Australia in coming days. We hugely apologise for any inconvenience caused to our Australian fans," said the band in a statement.
"The rescheduled shows in Australia are in January, we hope those of you with tickets can make these new dates next year. Huge apologies for a change in plans, we plan to make it up to you in the near future."
Existing tickets for both shows will remain valid for the rescheduled dates. For those who are unable to attend the new dates, refunds will be available from your ticket provider. Special guest Nicole Millar will perform at both rescheduled shows.
