BardotIt’s been 25 years since the four members of Bardot performed together, but this month, they’re reuniting for a one-off performance at Mighty Hoopla Festival in Sydney.
Earlier this week, festival organisers teased the reunion pop fans across Australia have been waiting for. They shared a video on social media of a retro flip phone that received the following message: “OMG Call me A.S.A.P.”, followed by a logo resembling poison, which references two of the group’s best-known songs.
This morning, dreams came true. The news was confirmed: Belinda Chapple, Sally Polihronas, Katie Underwood and Tiffani Wood will reunite for a special, one-off performance at the inaugural Mighty Hoopla Sydney.
Once again, the retro phone appeared on the screen, informing us that “Special Reunion Guests” were calling. The four picked up the phone and expressed excitement about their reformation.
The caption for the video reads, “BARDOT ARE BACK BABY! ❤️🔥

“This isn’t poison, this is pure pop perfection. For the first time in 25 years, Sally, Katie, Belinda and Tiffani are reuniting for a special, one off performance at the first ever Mighty Hoopla Sydney and honestly, we’re already waiting front row.”
Festival organisers added, “DON’T MISS THE RETURN OF BARDOT,” on Saturday, 21 February, when the event makes its debut at Bondi Beach. Limited tickets are still available here.
While all four members of the group are collaborators on Mighty Hoopla’s announcement post, meaning that it appears on all their profiles, too, Belinda Chapple also shared her own post on social media.
“After 23 years, we’re stepping back on stage together for the first time,” Chapple said.
She continued, “Bardot is reuniting at Mighty Hoopla on Feb 21 at bondi beach, and I honestly don’t have the words… only feelings 🥹
“Thank you for all the love 🌸🙏Can’t wait to share this moment with you 💖✨ Get your twinkle toes ready!”
At the time of publication, it’s unclear if Sophie Monk will also join in on the reunion.
Mighty Hoopla Sydney, the first edition of the UK-founded pop festival to be held Down Under, is stacked with pop icons. The line-up features headliner Kesha, and acts including Jamelia, Rogue Traders, Jessica Mauboy, BIG WETT, and many others.
