Ball Park Music & The Rions Lead NYE On The Hill's 2026 Line-up

Fresh from a year off, NYE On The Hill will be waving goodbye to 2026 with a stellar musical line-up.

Start preparing your new year’s eve plans, because NYE On The Hill has just unveiled the line-up for its 2026 return, and it’s shaping up to be a big one.

Leading the charge this year is Brisbane indie favourites Ball Park Music, who continue to draw massive crowds of voracious devotees even as they approach close to 20 years in the game. They'll be joined by Sydney rockers The Rions, WA duo Old Mervs, and Pacific Avenue, who are still riding high off the release of their latest record in February.

Add in appearances from Sleepazoid, Mid Drift, REDD., Boy Soda, Milly Strange, The Tullamarines, Intermood, and much more, and it’s clear that this year’s event is set to be a massive celebration with which to wave goodbye to 2026 and welcome 2027.

Taking place in South Gippsland in Victoria, the 2026 edition of NYE On The Hill serves as something of a grand return for the festival, given they last September announced they would be taking the 2025/2026 season off to “relax, repair and rejuvenate.”

“Howdy Folks! We’re taking a year off NYE on the Hill this year,” organisers said in a statement. “Giving the Farm a well-earned chance to relax, repair and rejuvenate. Look forward to welcoming y’all back next NYE.”

Born out of an idea from The Hills Are Alive Festival to host an intimate NYE celebration with friends, the initial “little party” held just 334 punters for New Year’s Eve 2012. The day was so fun that the original concept developed into a festival.

“The original concept, which still thrives today, is that anyone, at any time, should be able to turn to the person next to them, introduce themselves, and then party together like old friends while discovering the best up-and-coming musical talent the region has to offer,” the festival explains.

Tickets to this year's edition of NYE On The Hill go on sale from 8:40am on Wednesday, July 8th, with a pre-sale launching 24 hours earlier. Registrations for the pre-sale are available now.
