The LA punk gods are in the midst of recording their 16th full length record

More Bad Religion More Bad Religion

American punk legends Bad Religion are taking time away from their schedules record their 16th full length album.

The band is currently recording the unnamed record at Joe Barresi's JHOC studio – a relationship previously harbored– and is being co-produced by band members Brett Gurewitz, Greg Graffin as well as Barresi.

It's not the only thing on the band's mind at the moment, singer-songwriter Greg Graffin is in the middle of planning second year evolution classes at Cornell University and writing his new book Population Wars. Meanwhile, guitarist-songwriter Brett Gurewitz recently received an Independent Spirit Award while guiding his labels Epitaph and Anti-, and drummer Brooks Wackerman has been joining Tenacious D on tour and released a new record with band Kidneys.

Despite these extra-curricular activities, Bad Religion have continued to play worldwide shows, including Soundwave earlier this year.
