Backstreet's Back, Alright... And Crashed The Live Nation Website This Morning

“We’re sorry for the angst this has caused!”

Backstreet Boys have managed to break the internet in 2019.

It seems the legendary US boy band haven’t lost their spark, and Aussie fans were so determined to secure tickets to the group’s DNA World Tour this morning that they crashed the Live Nation website during pre-sale.

“This was always going to be a popular one - our website is getting a lot of attention at the moment, hang tight and we'll have you in there soon,” Live Nation tweeted.

“The Vodafone pre-sale for The Backstreet Boys is currently on hold due to technical issues.

“Tickets are still available, and we’ll let you know here when sales are ready to begin again. We’re sorry for the angst this has caused!”

Backstreet Boys will return to Australia next May to perform in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

The extensive world tour comes in support of the group's January-released album, DNA, which peaked at #1 in the US and #5 in Australia.

General public tickets for the tour go on sale from midday on Monday 23 September. Check out theGuide for more details.
