After embarking on their first headline tour of Australia in June 2023 and appearing at Good Things Festival in 2018 and Knotfest earlier this year, BABYMETAL will return Down Under for their largest Australian headline tour to date in 2026.
BABYMETAL are touring in support of their recently released new album, METAL FORTH. For their upcoming tour, they’ll be joined by collaborators and buzzed-about band, Bloodywood. The Indian metal outfit will make their Australian debut with BABYMETAL, the tour taking place next March.
The tour begins at HPC Perth on Thursday, 12 March. It continues at Adelaide’s AEC Theatre on Saturday, 14 March, followed by Melbourne’s John Cain Arena on Tuesday, 17 March, Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Friday, 20 March, and concludes at Brisbane’s Riverstage on Sunday, 22 March.
Pre-sale tickets will be available on Tuesday, 11 November, at 10 am local time—register here to access those tickets. The general sale begins on Thursday, 13 November, at 10 am local time via the Destroy All Lines website.
In addition to their collaboration with Bloodywood on METAL FORTH, BABYMETAL also locked in tracks with Poppy, Spiritbox, Electric Callboy, Slaughter To Prevail, Polyphia, and Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello, with all the stars highlighting their unique styles alongside the Japanese kawaii metal band.
BABYMETAL announced that they’d become a trio in April 2023. The group recruited a third member, Girls Planet 999 contestant Momoko Okazaki, to the band, becoming a trio again after Yui Mizuno left in 2018.

Okazaki, adopting the name Momometal, joined the band on stage on 1 April after serving as a backing dancer for BABYMETAL since 2019. She shares the stage with Nakamoto Suzuka, also known as “Su-metal,” and Kikuchi Moa, known as “Moametal.”
Reviewing Good Things Festival in Melbourne in 2018, The Music’s Stephanie Davies declared, “They’re singing in Japanese, but the metal in their souls is universal,” and added, “People may have come for the likes of All Time Low, Stone Sour and The Offspring, but by day’s end, everyone is a fan of BABYMETAL.”
