Aziz Ansari Added To Just For Laughs

Parks & Recreation star and comedian Aziz Ansari has been added to the line-up for Just For Laughs, with the comedy gala returning for a second year to the Sydney Opera House.

Shot to fame with his role as Tom Haverford on NBC's Parks & Recreation, Ansari will be bringing his new show Buried Alive to Australia.

Recently releasing his stand-up special Dangerously Delicious, Ansari is entering the film world in a big way. He recently featured alongside Danny McBride in 30 Minutes Or Less, will voice a character in Ice Ace: Continental Drift, is co-staring in End Of The World alongside Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill, and James Franco.

Another picture with McBride is in the works, and Ansari is also developing three films with Judd Apatow and director Jason Woliner, continuing a collaboration which started with Funny People.

He joins Noel Fielding, Rhy Darby, Drew Carey and others.
