Azealia Banks Under Police Investigation For Alleged Bashing Of Security Guard

US rapper Azealia Banks is currently under police investigation for allegedly getting involved in a physical altercation with a security guard in LA last month. 

As TMZ reports, the controversial artist was partying with some friends at the Break Room 86 nightclub when they were reportedly asked to leave the venue by security after getting a little too rowdy.

Upon exiting the club, security claim Banks tried pulling the fire alarm and when a guard attempted to drag her away from the valve, Banks allegedly lashed out and attacked the man.

The LAPD has now opened a criminal battery investigation.

Banks is yet to comment on the alleged altercation.

The news comes after a number of nasty incidents that the New-York born singer has been involved in this year, including verbally abusing a flight attendant with homophobic insults, as well as blasting fans on Instagram with violent and homophobic threats. 

Earlier this year, Banks performed at Australia's Splendour In The Grass and shortly after labelled the festival as a "waste of time" and its fans as "violent and belligerent".
