Outspoken US performer Azealia Banks has continued her vitriolic tirade against performing in Australia, following up her claims that local audiences are "terrible", "violent and belligerent" with the assertion that her recent trip Down Under for Splendour In The Grass was "truly a waste of my fucking time".

As local fans attempted to justify their ongoing adoration for the singer, Banks continued to make it hard, telling one tweeter — who'd innocently offered that Banks "should be grateful to be blessed with the chance to come to Australia for her fans" — "bitch, I have money. I can go to Oz whenever the fuck I want. Try again."

Evidently "whenever the fuck" she wants is "not all that often at all", however, especially after she took issue with, of all things, her write-up in the festival's program.

"I saw that shitty blurb u wrote about me in the artist book," Banks tweeted at Splendour. "It was obviously written by some divisive white person.

"All the things you could've written about me you chose that… I don't think I want to work with you all anymore."

"Truly a waste of my fucking time. I don't need to travel 24hrs to be disrespected."

Don't sweat it, Zee — we don't need you to travel for a day to come and disrespect us, either.

She wasn't quite done, though, throwing out a final barb to Paul Brown, the Brisbane radio DJ who started this whole furore:

"This is how Australian men turn up dead. Keep fucking around bitch..."

Yikes.
